Purple Abstract Scallop Shell Suncatcher

A one-of-a-kind scallop shell suncatcher, hand-drawn in an expressive purple abstract design and finished with a delicate gold-tone hanging chain. A strand of carefully selected vintage beads leads to a clear teardrop crystal prism, with the entire piece hanging approximately 15 inches from the chain.

Created during one of my own Art Therapy sessions, this piece is all about letting go of perfection and simply allowing creativity to flow. The freeform lines, curves, shapes and patterns were created intuitively—no planned design, no inspiration photo, just music and the freedom to create.

Hang it near a sunny window, on a covered patio, or anywhere the light can reach the crystal and scatter little rainbows around your space.

Because both the artwork and vintage bead combination were created individually, there will never be another one exactly like it.
