Hi, I’m Heather — the heart and hands behind Sea Glass & Sunsets.
Originally from Long Island, NY and now living along Florida’s Gulf Coast, I’ve always felt drawn to the sea. In 2016, after the heartbreaking loss of my father and the end of a relationship that left me feeling adrift, I found healing in long, quiet walks along the shore. The sea became my sanctuary, and sea glass—tumbled, weathered, yet still beautifully whole—became a symbol of my own transformation.
Over the years, my journey with the sea has grown into something shared. My mom and I now travel together to search for sea glass, collecting pieces from coastlines near and far. These trips have become part adventure, part tradition, and part love story of their own.
Along the way, I also found the love of my life, someone who sees the beauty in simple moments and slow days by the water. This life I once only hoped for has taken root, piece by piece, just like the glass I gather.
What started as simple moments of peace and collecting treasures in the sand slowly grew into a creative calling. Today, I design jewelry that celebrates the journey — the softness that comes from time, the resilience found in storms, and the beauty that emerges when we let ourselves be shaped by life with grace.
Each piece of sea glass I use is personally collected, then thoughtfully paired with sterling silver, gold, and natural textures to honor where it came from — and where you are headed. My hope is that when you wear my jewelry, you feel connected to your own story… your strength, your softness, your becoming.
Because like sea glass, you are a treasure shaped by the tides — and even more beautiful because of it.
