Create your own scallop shell crystal suncatcher with this beginner-friendly coastal DIY kit featuring a natural pre-drilled scallop shell, light blue glass beads, small natural wooden beads, fishing line, and a clear crystal prism designed to catch the sunlight and scatter beautiful little rainbows.

Your shell arrives ready for your imagination with three pre-drilled holes along the wide, rounded edge and one centered hole on the opposite end. How you choose to orient, decorate and design your shell is completely up to you.

Put on some music, turn down the outside noise and simply create. Try lines, dots, waves, patterns, shapes or whatever comes naturally. Don't overthink it—there's no perfect design and no right or wrong way to make it yours.

Once your shell is decorated, you'll create your hanging strands with a mix of light blue glass and natural wooden beads before finishing your suncatcher with its light-catching crystal prism.

Your kit includes everything you need to create your suncatcher, but don't be afraid to make it your own!

Dig through your bead box, beach treasures or shell collection and add a few special pieces you already have. Many naturally found shells have small holes that are perfect for stringing into your design.

Add a favorite bead. A shell from a special beach. Mix in different colors. Change the strand lengths.

There are no rules—this one is yours.
